Connection to "Tell-Tale Heart"

In class, I mentioned that "The Fall of the House of Usher" has many similarities to "Tell-Tale Heart." What connections do you see between the two?

The Tall Tale Heart and The fall of the House of Usher compare in the thought that they were obviously written by the same author, but in a deeper relation, they both express dark romanticism by portraying the horrors within the mind of Edgar Allan Poe and gothic literature in the terms of mysterious and sinister plots and settings within his works. The short stories also compare along the lines that they contain a character that at first remains calm and at peace, but as the plot continues they grow dark and weary and can no longer bare their burden to which they encompass.
