Is America still perfect
In the letter 'What is an American' by j Hector St. John De Crevecoeur, he states " we have no prince, for whom we toil, starve, and bleed, we are the most perfect socitey now exisiting in the world." So far we have pushed our views on to another countery, dropped atomic bombs, and have changed our melting pot society. Our 'melting pot' society was, English, Sotch,Irish, French, Dutch, Germans, and Swedes, but now when another group, Mexican wants to come in, we shut our barriers. is that fair? Since Americas future has progres, so has her jugement. Are we still the most 'Perfect socitey'? That was one mans view of his countrey, would another man view his country in the same 'perfectness'?

I personally don't think that it is right to be shutting our borders on Mexico. I think that there could be a problem in the future if we keep letting them in the way we are. But, instead of keeping them out completely, we should go straight to the problem. We should help the Mexican government build up a better country so people will stay and they won't all come to America to get jobs, they will want to work in their own country.
Yes, since America has progressed, so has our judgement. We seem to forget that there are other countries in this world. Instead of thinking that everyone is against us and we need to defend our freedom or someone will grow to strong and design nuclear weapons and try to take over our country. We need to be working with other countries and becoming friends with other countries and helping them build up their societies and governments.
