Thomas Jefferson wants people to believe what they want to believe and think for themselves. They shouldnt be subject to religous slavery. "Differrance of opinion is advantagous." This says that its an advantage for everyone as a whole if we think outside the box. govenment should not dictate what people believe. We can't force beliefs. Is the middle east trying to do what Virginia tryed to do along time ago?
