In response to Matt
In today’s modern society I think it is very unlikely that anyone would revolt or want to revolt. I believe this because if you were to get enough people to oppose the government you would be killed or imprisoned even with the first Amendment. Even though we have the freedom of speech the government still has the power to stop anyone who revolts. As of today the government monitors phone lines and there are cameras everywhere, this is arguably a violation of the first amendment, yet no one has revolted. However if a group of people were to revolt, it would take a major war or political issues for them to do so. For example if the government were to have the first amendment altered for their benefit people would not be happy thus causing a revolt.
