I agree with Courtney on America revolting, that the government does have too much power over to many things, but I don’t agree with her on that if enough people agreed to revolt then they could change it. America today is way to lazy. A revolt sounds like it might make people work a bit more than they are willing to even if it is for their freedom. To get people to do something you have to make them want to do it, and usually you have to do that by taking away every other option. Some of the rights that the government has limited on the population are good things even if does take away freedoms. For example the right to bare arms, bcambell, why is taking away your gun going to make people so mad? There are other ways to defend your self then pulling out a weapon. Think about how many people get shot accidentally a year because people don't know the correct way to do things with a gun. A gun is not a toy, people to get hurt and sometimes don't walk way. Other times the government just wants to have a better grip on the people that it controls. Free speech is a major freedom that is slowly slipping out of the peoples grip.
